For the men and women on patrol.

Mooresville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a proud supporter of the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. That's why we're affiliated with the Adopt A Cop BJJ program.

100% paid.
Until Blue Belt.

Adopt A Cop BJJ is a nonprofit, donation-based program that allows active-duty patrolling police officers to train at any affiliated academy and pays 100% of the officer's membership until they reach the rank of Blue Belt.

Blue Belt is the second-ranked belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and on average it takes around 12 to 18 months to obtain. Most individuals at blue-belt level have an immense advantage in controlling a combative situation over someone with no grappling knowledge — regardless of size, strength, or gender.

This is real, deployable skill that protects officers, suspects, and bystanders. Less force used, fewer injuries on both sides, and better outcomes when control is required.
